The Never Story is JID's debut studio album. It was released in March, 2017, by Spillage Village, Dreamville and Interscope Records. The general narrative depicts the story of his upbringing in East Atlanta. Guest vocals where supplied by EARTHGANG, Mereba and 6LACK; while producers who contributed to the project may include J. Cole and Ibrahim Hamad (as the executive producers), Chldish Major, The Imaginary Kids, Hollywood JB, Frank Dukes, Latrell James, Christo, etc.
